Canada Soccer's Grassroots Soccer Program

The Innisfail Minor Soccer Association is a Grassroots Soccer Program which follows the stages of Canada Soccer's Long-Term Player Development Model. Stages 1, 2 and 3 (Active Start, FUNdamentals and Learn to Train) gives coaches the ability to get the kids started with the basics of soccer training and highlights the importance of physical literacy for players up to 12 years of age. Stage 4 (Soccer for Life) focuses on fun and fitness in recreational soccer.

Our coaches are required to be certified under the age appropriate education programs for the teams they are coaching. Coaches MUST SIGN THEMSELVES UP IN THE LINKS BELOW.

All required coach training course costs and travel costs for on-field workshops incurred will be reimbursed. Please forward your certification confirmation for reimbursement.

Once the training has been taken it will not need to be taken again until it expires.
